Meal prices will be made available at the start of each school year. Costs are subject to change. Parents/guardians are required to deposit money into their child(ren)’s meal account to purchase breakfast, lunch, and/or milk. Payment deposit envelopes are available in the office. The office accepts cash or checks for meal payments. Payment may also be made online.
The student meal accounts must have funds before the student purchases a meal item. The cashier at the end of the line will scan the student’s ID. One ID will be issued per student per school year. Lost or broken ID cards must be replaced. The cost of a replacement ID is $5.00 cash only, in the exact amount.
Carryover funds will move with the student to the next DOE school when your child changes schools. If a student transfers to a private school, funds may be transferred to a sibling at Kaʻelepulu, or the balance can be refunded the following school year. Any balance refunded must be picked up at the office.
~ Lunch Entrée- An entrée can only be served after a meal has been purchased. Students are required to finish their meal before purchasing an entrée.
~ Milk Only- Students should not take milk if their meal account is negative. If this occurs, parents will be asked to make immediate payment.
